Package

## B2B Launch — a scoped native launch on an existing Shopify Plus store

B2B Launch is a fixed-fee engagement with a defined scope. It configures Shopify’s native B2B capabilities around how your customers actually buy, moves your company and pricing data in, trains your team, and puts the result in front of a small group of real customers before everyone else sees it.

Eligibility

Merchants with an existing Shopify Plus store who need a scoped native B2B launch.

Starting price

From C$20,000

Schedule

4–6 weeks for the agreed package scope

### What moves the price up

The starting price assumes a standard scope. These are what push a quote above it — we identify them during discovery, not after signing.

- More than 25 company accounts at launch
- A product catalog above 5,000 SKUs, or multi-source pricing complexity
- Training or onboarding beyond the standard three sessions

### Commercial terms

- Fixed fee, with the final scope and price confirmed during discovery.
- 50% at signing, 50% at delivery.
- Scope changes are handled explicitly, in writing, before the work starts.

### Configuration

Configured against your buyer groups, catalogs and pricing rules — and against the capabilities your plan and store actually support, which we confirm during discovery.

See the full configuration list

- Companies, locations and buyers
- Catalogs and pricing
- Quantity rules
- Payment terms
- Customer accounts
- Draft orders
- Tax exemptions
- B2B checkout, subject to verified platform capabilities

### Data and QA

- Standard company, customer and pricing imports
- Validation of the imported data
- Buyer-journey testing

### Handover

- Three training sessions covering customer management, pricing and fulfillment
- Operating documentation

### Rollout

- Pilot with 5–10 wholesale customers
- Full launch, followed by the support included in the agreed scope

### Not included in B2B Launch

These are outside the package. They are real work we do — they are scoped, priced and scheduled separately, and they are the reason a custom engagement exists.

- —Custom storefront or theme
- —Headless build
- —ERP integration or live ERP pricing
- —Custom apps
- —Complex approval workflows
- —Multiple storefronts or banners
- —Complex migration beyond standard imports

Fit

## When your B2B operation needs more

This is a fit decision, not a sequence. Some businesses run for years on the packaged launch. Others have requirements on day one that the package deliberately excludes. Read both columns and pick the one that describes your operation.

### B2B Launch is the right fit when

Your store is already live on Shopify Plus, your pricing follows rules you can write down, and your buyers need a working self-serve channel rather than a bespoke one.

- You are on Shopify Plus today and staying there.
- Pricing is per company or per location, on rules you can state.
- Your company and customer data can be exported in a usable form.
- A standard buyer journey is a genuine improvement on email and phone orders.

### Scope a custom implementation when

Your buying process has requirements that native configuration cannot express — or your prices, stock and orders have to stay in step with a system outside Shopify.

- Prices or availability must come live from an ERP.
- Buyers need approval chains, budgets or allocations beyond a simple permission.
- You need a custom storefront, a headless build, or several banners.
- The buyer workflow needs an application built for it.

## Husky Boutique: four buyer experiences on Shopify Plus

Custom implementation — not the B2B Launch package

Husky Boutique sells to four audiences that buy in genuinely different ways, from one Shopify Plus store. Each audience gets the catalog, pricing and ordering rules that fit it, and the store stays in step with the system the business already runs on. The work needed a custom implementation: it is well beyond the scope and the starting price of the packaged launch.

- Consumers buying at retail
- Schools ordering uniforms
- Businesses buying at negotiated prices
- Corporate uniform programs

Delivery

## From configuration to confident ordering

Four steps, in this order. Nothing goes to your full customer base until a real group of buyers has ordered through it.

1. 01

    ### Confirm scope and data

We map your buyer groups, pricing rules and payment terms, agree what is in the launch, and check that your company, customer and pricing data can be exported in a usable form.

2. 02

    ### Configure

We set up companies, locations and buyers, catalogs and pricing, quantity rules, payment terms, accounts, draft orders, tax exemptions and B2B checkout — against the capabilities your store actually supports.

3. 03

    ### Validate buyer journeys and train

We import and validate your data, then test the journeys end to end: the right buyer sees the right catalog at the right price and can complete an order. Your team gets three training sessions and operating documentation.

4. 04

    ### Pilot and launch

Five to ten wholesale customers order for real first. We fix what that surfaces, then open B2B to everyone with the support included in the agreed scope.

The 4–6 week schedule applies to the agreed scope of B2B Launch on an existing Shopify Plus store. A custom implementation is scheduled against its own scope.

FAQ

## Questions buyers ask before scoping

What does B2B Launch cost and include?

B2B Launch starts at C$20,000 as a fixed fee, with the final scope and price confirmed during discovery, and payment split 50% at signing and 50% at delivery. The package covers configuration of Shopify’s native B2B capabilities — companies, locations and buyers, catalogs and pricing, quantity rules, payment terms, customer accounts, draft orders, tax exemptions and B2B checkout — plus standard company, customer and pricing imports with validation and buyer-journey testing, three training sessions with operating documentation, and a pilot with 5–10 wholesale customers before full launch. It runs 4–6 weeks for that agreed scope on an existing Shopify Plus store. Scope changes are handled explicitly, in writing, before the work starts.

Does it include ERP integration or a new storefront?

No. ERP integration and live ERP pricing, a custom storefront or theme, a headless build, custom apps, complex approval workflows, multiple storefronts or banners, and complex migration beyond standard imports are all outside B2B Launch. That is what keeps the price and the schedule fixed. Each of those is work we do, scoped and priced as a separate engagement — and if you already know you need one of them, a custom implementation is the better starting point than the package.

Can B2B and retail share a store?

Yes. Wholesale buying can run on the same Shopify store as your retail business, with company-specific catalogs and prices shown only to signed-in buyers, or on a separate store dedicated to B2B. Which one fits depends on your catalogs, buyer access, pricing rules, payment terms and integrations. We settle that question during discovery, before any configuration starts, because it is expensive to change later.

What do we need before kickoff?

Three things. A Shopify Plus store already live, with admin access for our team. An internal owner who can answer questions about your pricing logic, customer hierarchy and B2B operations while we confirm scope. And your company, customer and pricing data in a usable form — an ERP export or a spreadsheet is fine, we structure it from there. The cleaner those inputs, the faster the first step closes.

## Tell us how your customers buy

Whether that points at the packaged launch or a custom implementation, the first conversation is the same: your buyer groups, your pricing rules, and the systems that have to agree with each other.
